You may recognize Lola Corwin as younger sister of Morena Corwin (Playboy's September Playmate in 1992). They were born the great great granddaughter of an Emperor of Korea in Seoul, and grew up in Orlando, Florida. Lola's mother is 100% Korean and her dad is half-Swiss/half-German with fair skin and blonde hair. If she had to describe herself, she would say she resemble the actress Tia Carrera, but her look is definitely more Americanized.

Modeling Career

Every girl has the dream of becoming a model and Lola was no exception. She knew it would be an exciting career because her sister, Morena, had found her own success as a model. Many years ago, Morena began modeling for Venus Swimwear. She would tell Lola about her experiences, working with top photographers in super-exotic locations. Morena always encouraged Lola to try modeling and believed that she would make it if she just went for it!

Morena brought Lola's photo to Venus Swimwear, and they were interested! They signed her right away and before long, she had the cover girl spot on the Venus Swimwear Magazine. After shooting for Venus, Lola sent some photos to the Irene Marie Modeling agency in Miami Beach, Florida. They signed her to a modeling contract right away. That was the real start of it all.

Lola and Morena's look, obviously as sisters, is similar. Morena always believed that they should produce a "sisters" calendar. She was so adamant and finally she convinced a calendar company to give them a test shoot. Well, after the photos were developed they were so excited that the deal went through immediately! They spent four days shooting the calendar on location in the Californian desert and simply named the calendar Sisters.

Morena Corwin has had a great modeling career and will probably return to it one day; but for now, she has put modeling on hold. She married a great guy and now has two beautiful children.

Hawaiian Tropic

After 1995 Miss Hawaiian Tropic United States Finalist, Lola was 2nd runner up at the 1998 Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant. Jennifer England representing Lansing, Michigan was announced as the winner of the 1998 Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant. The four finalists this year are 1st runner-up, Natalia Sokolova representing Moscow, Russia; 2nd runner-up, Lola Corwin representing Wonsan, Korea; 3rd runner-up, Jennifer Rovero representing Maracay, Venezuela; 4th runner-up, Kalin Olson representing St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Sofia Lopez representing Caracas, Venezuela was named Miss Photogenic with Lucy Palma Gonzalez representing San Salvador, El Salvador being named Miss Congeniality.

Lola Makes "Music" with Madonna!

Lola Corwin is featured in mega-superstar Madonna's new music video entitled "Music". Lola had auditioned for the video without knowing who the artist was. When she was told she got the part, she was excited. When she found out that it was a Madonna video, she was ecstatic! "I couldn't believe that I would be working with Madonna! I was also excited about the exposure that I would get from the video. I felt very lucky to have been chosen". Lola auditioned along with hundreds of girls. The director narrowed the number down to twenty. Madonna then went through the remaining girls and chose whom she wanted. Lola made the final cut and the rest, is well… "Music" to our ears. Actress Debi Mazar is also be featured in the video.
